The Power
of Mediation

Resolve your disputes quickly and efficiently, without the need for costly and time-consuming litigation.

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process where a neutral third-party mediator helps facilitate a discussion between parties who are in a dispute. The mediator does not make decisions or impose solutions but helps the parties come to a mutually acceptable agreement that addresses their concerns.

We understand that disputes can be stressful, and we are committed to helping our clients find mutually beneficial solutions that work for everyone involved. Our team of experienced mediators is highly skilled in conflict resolution and is committed to helping our clients resolve their disputes in a fair and impartial manner. We offer mediation services for a wide range of disputes, including family law, employment law, business disputes, and more.

Mediation offers many benefits over traditional litigation. These include:

Faster Resolution & Cost Effective

Mediation is often less expensive than going to court and can resolve disputes in weeks or months, rather than years.

Customized Solutions & Confidential

Mediation allows parties to create customized solutions that work for their specific needs within proceedings that are confidential and do not become part of the public record.

Preservation of Relationships

Mediation helps parties maintain relationships by resolving disputes in a constructive and respectful manner.

Meet Our Founder

Lesley Gist is a mediator with a unique journey. She discovered mediation after false charges were filed against her by a school in 2004. Through mediation, she successfully appealed the school's actions and was reinstated.

Her faith and devotion to God led her to take a conflict resolution course, which accidentally led to her enrolling in a mediator's course for the courts. She completed the course with her mother and found that the courts were in dire need of mediators.

Lesley and her mother enrolled in another course and became mediators. Lesley's company
"Truly A Mediator" centers around providing efficient mediation virtually.

Our Process

We have a well-defined mediation process that is designed to help our clients resolve their disputes in a fair and efficient manner.

Our process includes:

  1. Initial consultation: We will meet with you to understand the nature of the dispute and determine if mediation is the right approach.

  2. Mediation session: We will arrange a mediation session at a time and location convenient for all parties involved.

  3. Discussion and negotiation: Our mediator will facilitate a discussion and negotiation between the parties, working towards a mutually acceptable solution.

  4. Agreement: Once a resolution is reached, we will assist in drafting an agreement that reflects the terms of the resolution.

  5. Follow-up: We will follow up with all parties to ensure that the agreement is being implemented correctly.
